Delete your account and personal data

You have the right to request erasure or destruction of your personal data at any time under Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562. This page explains how to delete your WOOP account and all associated data. You do not need to give a reason, and there is no charge.

Email a deletion request

1. How to send the request

Email omu.kantinan@hbg-th.com from the address registered on your account, with the subject “Delete my WOOP account”. Sending from the account’s own email lets us verify your identity faster.

Please include:

the email address you sign in with
the full name on the account
whether you want the whole account deleted, or only specific data

If you write from a different address, we may ask for proof of identity first, so that nobody else can delete your account. You can also ask about the process by phone at 0957079365.

2. How long it takes

Once we receive your request we verify your identity and then notify you of the result within 30 days of receipt, as set out in our Privacy Policy.

If we have to refuse a request — for example because the law requires us to keep the data — we will tell you why.

Deletion is permanent. Learning history, certificates, coins, points, and avatar items are lost and cannot be restored.

3. What gets deleted

your account, email address, full name, and password
profile photo, headline, and avatar settings
learning history, course progress, quiz answers and scores
game data: XP, level, points, streaks, and avatar items
posts, comments, and reactions you created
saved delivery addresses and phone numbers
your messages to the AI assistant
your membership of every organisation

4. What we must keep, and why

Under “Data Retention” in our Privacy Policy, some records must be kept even after you delete your account:

accounting and tax records such as receipts and proof of payment, as required by Thai accounting and tax law, kept to the minimum necessary
system security logs, which are anonymised
data needed for an unresolved legal claim or dispute

Certificates already issued to you are withdrawn from public verification on request.

5. Alternatives to deleting your account

If you only want to leave one organisation rather than delete everything, contact that organisation’s administrator. Your account and personal learning history stay with you.

If you simply do not want emails or notifications, you can change that in notification settings without deleting your account.

If you do not want recruiters to see your profile, switch off “open to work” on your profile page.
